What is an Event?
In Tall Emu CRM, Events are a special type of marketing campaign and would be used for live or webinar events where the company invites people to attend and wants to track the results.
Events work similarly to campaigns, except there is the option to publish events to your website(s) and allow clients to book into the event online - without your team having to respond to emails or perform manual data entry. Setting up an Event
Inside the CRM, it's possible to create any number of events; specify details about the events including location, event type, start time/end time and so on. In a typical CRM you'd then need to get your webmaster to publish details of these events to your websites and landing pages.
When you create an event in Tall Emu CRM, a background process connects to your websites and updates not only the upcoming event schedule pages, but the all-important booking form.
When visitors go to your site, they can easily see upcoming events and book to attend. Of course - when they complete the booking form, their details are automatically entered into the CRM , thanks to the webforms system.
From here it's possible to run workflows which can send automated marketing emails or perform other automatic tasks like assigning calls to telemarketing team for follow up.
